Welcome to the brand-new 2024 HHNa Association website

It’s finally here! This is the brand-new 2024 Historic Highlands Neighborhood Association website. My name is Angela Contreras and I am the HHNA website and communications committee chairperson. I developed this updated website all through the summer into the fall and winter of 2023/24. I walked the neighborhood capturing images of our homes and architectural detail, our local businesses, our beautiful trees and foliage, neighbors walking the neighborhood (so watch out you may see yourself pictured in this website!). In doing so, I met many wonderful residents who graciously allowed me to photograph and include their homes in the new Gallery of Historic Highland homes (see the carousel below). I created the Gallery of Homes in order to showcase the varied architectural styles of our homes while bringing an awareness to their history in order to encourage a respect for, and preservation of, these beautiful and unique structures. No two are alike, and so many are lovingly restored and preserved with an attention to historic detail. I will be adding more homes in the months to come and I will be updating the website with content and images on a seasonal basis.
